Good ol' family fun

I had a session with a fantastically fun family on Saturday and couldn't wait to share some shots of these gorgeous kiddos!  Here's a sneak peek for mom:

The oldest is a football player, a real tough guy:

The middle brother is a complete ham:

And the youngest is a little princess, just ask her!

I love this shot of the brothers:

Can you believe the baby blues on these kids?!

And finally, the whole beautiful family...

So much to love!  I'll be posting a few more of this bunch after mom gets to see the entire gallery, so stay tuned...

Rub-a-dub-dub . . .

. . . or "Ollie gets a bath."  Poor guy would be so embarrassed to know I posted these, but he just looks so hilarious when he's wet!

The State Fair of Texas

Shame on me, I have been neglecting my blog terribly lately!  So to get back on track, here are some photos from the Texas State Fair last weekend...

Ireland: Castletownshend

Shall we get back to some more Ireland photos?  I think so!  These are from Castletownshend, County Cork, which is reportedly where Michael Flatley (of "Lord of the Dance" fame) lives.  One of our goals while in Ireland was to stay overnight in a castle, so we went there to stay at a B&B called (appropriately enough) "The Castle," which sits right on the harbor.

Our room was at the top of this tower, and our window looked out over the harbor:

There were a couple of swans that hung out in front of the Castle, and they were enormous!

We made friends with stray cat outside too:

Then we walked up the hill to find a pub for dinner, and we passed some pretty sights along the way.  The figurines in this window cracked me up:

Castletownshend is a fishing town, and someone's gear was hanging outside the front door:

And this was just plain pretty:

We found Mary Ann's, the town's best restaurant:

Our dinner was delicious!

The next morning we got up early and hit the road again . . . more photos to come soon!
