This week I have been inducted into the Underground, a whole new-to-me world of Adobe Camera Raw editing brought to my attention by a brilliant fellow flickr-ite. So I have been shooting up a storm the last few evenings--around my apartment, around our neighborhood, around town--just so that I can practice with it! This editing process can give photos an edgy, urban feel or a soft, dream-like quality . . . I love all the possibilities! Here are some recent results:

Believe it or not, the time has already come to upgrade our website! We're currently in the process of switching website hosts, so we are going to be without a site for a couple of days. But we should be back up and running on a new-and-improved website soon, and everyone who previously had image galleries will find their photos in the proofing area there--same password and all! Thanks for hanging in there in the meantime!
Have you heard the fantastic music on my website? It's by Frances England, a very talented mother-of-two from San Francisco. She created the "Fascinating Creatures" album as a fundraiser for her son's preschool, but it has since spread around the world. It was voted 4th best kids and family album of the year in the 2006 Fids and Kamily poll, and it was the sole winner of the 2007 Oppenheim Platinum Award for music. A big thanks to Frances for allowing me to feature her album on my website!
