Camille + Justin

On Saturday I got to witness the marriage of my brother-in-law's wife's sister . . . but to make things a little less complicated, let's just call her the sweetest girl in the whole world!  The wedding was at a gorgeous cathedral in downtown Fort Worth and the reception was at the old Texas & Pacific train station.  And even though I was not (and am not!) the wedding photographer, everything was so incredibly beautiful that I just could not resist whipping out my camera.  Here are some of my favorites!

Trashing the dress . . . again!

Pardon the interruption, but I must break into the regularly-scheduled program of photos from my trip to Ireland to share a new slideshow with you!  You may remember a "trash the dress" session I did with a gorgeous bride awhile back (who also happened to be my sister-in-law).  I posted some photos shortly afterwards, but since that time I have made a slideshow of all of the images from the shoot.  I wasn't going to post it on the blog, but after a couple of the photos were featured on the official TTD blog tonight, I thought I'd go ahead and share it--I hope you enjoy!  (You can see it slightly larger, and on black, here.)

Sweet fifteen

Andrea was my first real portrait subject ever, so I feel extremely fortunate to have been a part of her very special quinceañera celebration.  I went over to her aunt's house before the big event and took photos of her getting ready there.  She's quite honestly one of the sweetest girls I've ever met and deserves all the best from life, so I was touched to see her looking so beautiful and genuinely happy.  And I know that she has been waiting for these for awhile, so without further ado, here are some of my favorite photos from the day!

First, a few details: the invitation...

and voila!  A princess!

I love this moment!  So serious, like she was really contemplating the importance of the day (or maybe she was just rehearsing her dances in her head!)

Stunning, once again!

She had an amazing mantilla...

And she's quite the daddy's girl!

One last look on her way out the door (I love the light)...

I hope you had an amazing day, Andrea!  Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it.  I wish you all the best in the future!

And if these weren't enough for you, you can see more photos in her slideshow!  (There's a slightly larger version here.)

Wedding bells, revisited

I finally finished proofing Keysha's and Chris's 7-7-07 wedding!  I already mentioned what a beautiful wedding they had, but now you can see for yourself!  Check out their slideshow!  (You can see it a little larger here.)
